I have always been interested in history and it is my favorite genre to write. I love to visit other times in history and imagine what it would be like to live there.
My first novel, Yesteryear's Love, was published by Berkley/Jove under their Time Passages imprint. Wild Honey was published by Awe-Struck E-books. A Moment In Time, The Lucky Lady and The Irish Countess were published by Whiskey Creek Press. The River's Treasure and Arrow of the Heart were published by Amber Quill Press. The Irish Countess was an EPPIE finalist in 2007.
Released in May 2007, was The Kilted Governess from Amber Quill Press.
When I'm not writing, I work as the Director of Education for a California Sylvan where I help to teach the next generation to read. I live in Southern California with my three sons, who encourage my writing, my two cats and my dog.

The Kilted Governess
Eirica MacDougall's ailing father promises her in marriage to a line of suitors who want her farm and are willing to overlook "the incident" that ruined her reputation at sixteen. Also, her father hires Duncan MacKinnon as governess to her young sister and he steals Eirica's heart.
Then her father dies and the suitors become more adamant that she chose one. Duncan steps in to help her run the farm. But someone wants her inheritance and threatens her family. She must convince him to marry her to save her from the suitors. Duncan, having nothing to offer but his love, refuses. Then he must save her reputation and her life.
The Irish Countess
After the death of her husband, Earl Fitzsimmons, Countess Ciara MacCormack Fitzsimmons returns home to Ireland and the earl's estate accompanied by her six-year-old son, the new earl. There she meets Mick O'Hurlihey, the estate overseer, and falls in love for the first time in her life. However, her concern must be for her son's welfare and keeping his inheritance safe. Being the countess keeps her from Mick.
Mick is smitten with Ciara the first time he sees her, but realizes that he can never lay claim to the Countess Fitzsimmons. Then danger stalks Ciara and her son and Mick risks his own life to keep theirs safe.
Can their love prove stronger than the social status that separates them? Can Ciara have Mick and his love and still insure her son will grown up to be the Earl Fitzsimmons?
The River's Treasure
Genevieve Rawlings awakens on the banks of the Mississippi River, cold, half drowned and with no recollection of how she came to be there. Cooper Monroe rescues her and she finds love and happiness with his family, something she doesn't believe she's ever had. Then someone tries to steal her diamond and ruby necklace and her life.
As he protects her, he finds he is falling in love with her. Cooper lost his first wife to a fever and has vowed to never again love a woman, but no matter how hard he tries, he cannot stop himself from loving her. However, he insists she must return to her father in New Orleans where she will be safe and live properly. She wants nothing more than to remain with Carter. Can she convince him that she'll be happy as a farm wife instead of a socialite?
The Lucky Lady
Lila Kane is trying to bury her past as a saloon singer and reestablish herself as a respectable dressmaker in a town where no one knows her. Then she meets Carter Hawkins, a saloon owner, gambler and drinker,--the epitome of everything she detests--but he touches her heart.
Carter wants nothing more than to sell his saloon and resume his wandering lifestyle until Lila arrives. He is drawn to the prim and proper seamstress, but realizes he must stay away from her or he'll ruin her reputation.
Then a blackmailer threatens her life and her dream and Carter will do whatever necessary to keep her safe. Can he keep her safe without sabotaging her dream and her reputation? Can she keep him from stealing her heart as he tries to protect her?
