Studious and efficient, Dr. Lori Tremain had one objective: obtaining her tenure. Geeky and slightly scatter-brained Dr. Eric Gordon also had one objective: getting close to Lori Tremain and finding a computer virus. What neither knew was that a 900-year old dragon by the name of Drake was going to help them accomplish both of these tasks.

Lori was a herpetologist with six months until her research was completed and her tenure accomplished. What she didn't expect was the complication of Eric coming into her life trying to have her assist him in his search for a virus that he swears was created in the tunnels under the university by a dragon.

Never one to turn down an adventure that involved a lizard, Lori goes with Eric to find the source of the virus that is wiping out computer data all over the university. Searching for the virus and eliminating it, takes Eric down to the tunnels under the university where he finds the hidey-hole where whoever is trying to systematically wreck havoc on this fine institution.

What neither Lori nor Eric expects to find is a natural cave formation which is home to every imaginative child's fantasy - a mythical dragon named Drake!

Drake becomes their ally in the resolution of the virus and also helps them discover how much they meant to each other and how life's plans sometimes do collide with your dreams.
