IN THE BEGINNING...

HRC Founder Ingela F. Hyatt began her love affair with historical romance novels back in high school, and her interest never waned.

After perfecting her web-building skills, and creating many websites "for fun," it seemed like a natural progression to create a serious website devoted to the romance genre.

In June, 2003, the very first edition of Historical Romance Club was uploaded to the Internet. There have been many versions since, including one made entirely in Flash!

In 2006 Ingela realized her dream, and became a published romance author.

With little spare time, she handed the job of rebuilding yet another version of HRC over to a new webmaster, and the rest is, as we like to say around here, history...

This latest version of the HRC website is the result of a collaboration between Ingela, and webmaster Meister E. Enjoy!
